APPLICABLE LAW
By visiting Thunder Lakes Angola, you agree that the laws of the state of Indiana, USA, without regard to principles of conflict of laws, will govern these Conditions of Use and any dispute of any sort that might arise between you and Thunder Lakes Angola or its associates.
DISPUTES
Any dispute relating in any way to your visit to Thunder Lakes Angola or to products you purchase through Thunder Lakes Angola shall be submitted to confidential arbitration in Indiana, USA, except that, to the extent you have in any manner violated or threatened to violate Thunder Lakes Angola’s intellectual property rights, Thunder Lakes Angola may seek injunctive or other appropriate relief in any state or federal court in the state of Indiana, USA, and you consent to exclusive jurisdiction and venue in such courts. Arbitration under this agreement shall be conducted under the rules then prevailing of the American Arbitration Association. The arbitrators award shall be binding and may be entered as a judgment in any court of competent jurisdiction. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, no arbitration under this Agreement shall be joined to an arbitration involving any other party subject to this Agreement, whether through class arbitration proceedings or otherwise.
RANGE MEMBERSHIP POLICIES
Purchase of a membership is nonrefundable. ALL members and users of the shooting range must meet the legal age and requirements, including a government issued ID and the completion and signing of the Range Safety Certification & Waiver. Membership benefits and promotional gifts are subject to change at the discretion of Thunder Lakes Angola without notice. Monthly membership subscriptions will be charged to a credit card on monthly basis. If a member should need to cancel the subscription, a written notice must be mailed 30 days prior to a billing cycle to: Thunder Lakes, 2160 W 175 N, Angola, IN 46703
The Bring a Guest benefit for Corporate Members is defined as a qualified person to use the range. This guest must meet the legal age and requirements, including a government issued ID and the completion and signing of the Range Safety Certification & Waiver ($10 fee waived). A member can only bring the same person as a guest two (2) times per year.
TRAINING POLICIES
These policies and procedures are in place to protect not only ourselves, but our country. We feel prudence demands we hold our customers and ourselves to a higher standard and if it is found a customer does not meet or exceed any of our policies or procedures we will gladly refund their class fee minus a transaction fee and recommend another training organization. In these troubled times, we feel it is better to err on the side of caution. Your understanding and support is greatly appreciated in this manner. Thunder Lakes Angola reserves the right to change, update or alter our policies at any time and without having to notify individuals or groups.
ATTENDANCE POLICY
Thunder Lakes Angola reserves the right to refuse business or services to any individuals or organizations without providing an explanation. Final approval for attendance is at the sole discretion of the Thunder Lakes Angola staff and is non-negotiable.
STUDENT CREDENTIALS
IMPORTANT NOTE: Due to recent events, we will be requiring more stringent student credentials to participate in any training class we provide. Failure to complete the application will result in an application being returned and non-enrollment. It is the responsibility of the student to ensure we have all the appropriate material to verify the credentials. Failure to do so could result in denied enrollment or delayed enrollment. Training classes are limited to United States citizens who meet the appropriate criteria.
PAYMENT, REFUND AND CANCELLATION POLICIES
Thunder Lakes Angola reserves the right to change or alter our class fees or payment policies at any time and without notifying customers. These policies are strictly followed to ensure the highest quality of training. We will train regardless of global tensions or under any weather conditions and therefore will not issue a refund because of circumstances outside of our control.
– All class registration fees and outstanding balances must be paid in full prior to the first day of class.
– To guarantee your enrollment the full class registration fee will be charged upon submission; which includes a 50% non-refundable deposit.

– Speaking with Thunder Lakes Angola personel by phone or other means does not qualify as an official notice.
– We must receive this email from the same email address used to register with or we will not honor the request.
– Failure to do so will result in forfeiture of class registration fees.
– Cancellations greater than 10 days from first day of class will receive a full refund minus the non-refundable deposit.
– Cancellations less than 10 days from first day of class will forfeit their registration fee and non-refundable deposit. Upon request the student may receive a credit voucher good for 6 months from the original class date minus the non-refundable deposit.
– Students who voluntarily dis-enroll from training after training begins forfeits their whole class registration fee and non-refundable deposits.
– Students who are dismissed from training due to safety risks will be prorated their class registration fee minus the non-refundable deposit.
– Training class seats are limited to a first come first serve basis.
– Once our class maximums have been reached no further students will be admitted.
– Students may apply for our standby list in case of an opening or other contingencies.
– Standby students will be giving 24 hours to confirm attendance or forfeit their position to the next name on the standby list.
– Thunder Lakes Angola reserves the right to postpone or cancel classes at our discretion. In the event Thunder Lakes Angola has to postpone or cancel a class, a new class date will be provided in a timely manner (usually 10 business days). If the student cannot attend the new class dates, then a credit voucher will be issued equal to the class registration fee good for 6 months from the new class convening date. If the student wishes to cancel then a full refund minus a specified transaction fee shall be issued.
SAFETY
Thunder Lakes Angola reserves the right to remove and if necessary eject from training any student who represents a danger to himself or the class. Failing to follow cadre instructions, safety rules, class protocol or conduct deemed unsafe or unbecoming will result in the immediate removal. In certain circumstances, students may be placed on an administrative hold pending a review of their actions or inaction before returning to class. Students who are ejected from training will be asked to leave immediately. Thunder Lakes Angola follows an Operational Risk Management (ORM) policy regarding safe training practices and student to instructor ratios. Each evolution is evaluated, hazards identified and assessed with controls implemented to ensure the safest training possible. Some controls may include students being pulled from evolutions that are beyond their skill and capability and are at the sole discretion of the cadre.
SITE POLICIES, MODIFICATION, AND SEVERABILITY
All Policies posted on this site also govern your visit to Thunder Lakes Angola. We reserve the right to make changes to our site, policies, and these Conditions of Use at any time. If any of these conditions shall be deemed invalid, void, or for any reason unenforceable, that condition shall be deemed severable and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining condition.
